As part of their studies with IU Musical Theatre, Caroline Santiago and Dennis Rendleman danced a short lyrical jazz piece choreographed by DeeJay Gray, highlighting a blend between controlled technique and the classic quality of soft-shoe dance.
In the Indiana University Opera & Ballet Theater’s 2018 production of West Side Story, Shayleen Norat appeared as Maria, with Dennis Rendleman portraying Chino. The production brought Bernstein’s iconic score and timeless story to life, with Rendleman’s performance contributing to the dramatic tension and emotional depth of the work’s central conflict.
